A Legitimate, Clinician-Led Process
How our telehealth platform matches you with a state-licensed mental health professional for an individualized housing evaluation.
Complete Your Confidential Intake
Begin by taking our private intake questionnaire. You will provide basic information regarding your current housing situation, symptoms, how your companion animal supports your emotional well-being, and your state of residence.
This intake screens for clinical candidacy and state-specific regulatory criteria (such as California's 30-day statutory relationship requirement). It does not diagnose you.
Match with a State-Authorized Professional
If you are a candidate and decide to proceed, you will be matched with an independently licensed mental health professional (such as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or Clinical Psychologist) who holds an active license in your state.
You select a consultation time that fits your schedule via our secure scheduling tool.
Meet for a Private Clinical Evaluation
Meet privately with your licensed clinician via secure telehealth video or phone consultation. The clinician will conduct an individualized evaluation of your functional limitations and evaluate whether an assistance animal accommodation is clinically indicated.
The provider makes an objective, independent clinical decision. Clinicians are never pressured with approval quotas.
Receive Housing Documentation If Approved
If the clinician approves your accommodation, official documentation formatted in compliance with HUD Notice FHEO-2020-01 is prepared on the clinician's professional letterhead with license numbers and issued to your secure portal.
Your documentation includes a unique Verification ID. Your landlord or property manager can confirm document authenticity 24/7 through our landlord portal without compromising your medical privacy.
